Responsible for stall sales at Aartsen.
Meet Marc, he is nonstopfresh
I am 43 years old, married to Lindy and we have two lovely children: Tyrone and Luna. We live in Oosterhout.
What do you do at Aartsen and what does this job entail?
I am responsible for the 'stall' organisation and commercial activities. This sales stall is Aartsen's showpiece. Everything has to be perfect. Together with the buyers I decide which products should be moved up front and which products should be removed. I see to it that everything looks great for our customers.
What do you love about your job?
I love working with fruit and vegetables. It is a challenge for me every day to keep the stall looking immaculate. I am a perfectionist, so it's something that I really enjoy doing. In addition, the contact with Aartsen customers is something I find enjoyable and varied.
What brought you to Aartsen?
A colleague at my previous job told me that working at Aartsen might be something for me. She knew all about it because her father had worked for Aartsen. I sent in an unsolicited application and I was hired. I liked it immediately.
How does Aartsen set itself apart?
The very first time I walked in here, I was struck by the way it looked: well-kept and orderly. I had never seen anything like it. And that is still the case today. The products are fantastic and they are displayed beautifully. Plus, it is clean and very neat. This is where Aartsen distinguishes itself tremendously from other companies.
What do you think about the statement: ‘If you really want to, you can do everything'?
I agree. If you really go for something, there is always a possibility.
